Where our name comes from
The shdad is the traditional camel saddle of Arabia: fitted with care, built to carry travellers and everything they needed across long distances. It was never the destination. It was what made the journey possible.

Our story
Shdad began as a family venture, founded by Etmad AlMassary, with a simple interest in bringing people together through travel.
Over the years, we've worked with different kinds of travellers and learned that the details make a difference. Good planning, reliable people and understanding what each guest needs have always been central to how we work.
Every trip is run by our own team in Riyadh, with guides, hosts and drivers we know personally.
