These terms explain how bookings with Shdad Tourism work. Items in [square brackets] are placeholders to be replaced with our actual policies before this page is final.

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of shdad.sa and to any booking you make with Shdad Tourism, a licensed tour operator in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (License No: 73101445, CR: 7003334484). By making a booking or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not book.

Using the website

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. All content, including text, photos and logos, belongs to Shdad or its licensors, and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. We try to keep the site accurate and up to date but do not promise that it is always free of errors or interruptions.

Bookings

  • A booking is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation, after we have received the payment due at that stage.
  • The person making the booking confirms they are at least 18 and have the authority to accept these terms for everyone in the group.
  • You must give us correct names and details for every traveller. Changes after booking may carry a fee [state fee, if any].
  • Private journeys and group experiences may have different minimum numbers or conditions; these are shown on the trip page.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in Saudi Riyals (SAR). Other currencies on the site are shown as a guide only; checkout is always charged in SAR.
  • Prices include and exclude the items listed on each trip page.
  • [Deposit and balance: state the amount due at booking and the date the balance is due.]

Cancellation and refunds by you

If you need to cancel, tell us in writing at info@shdad.sa. The following cancellation charges apply:

  • [More than X days before departure: refund of X%.]

Changes and cancellation by us

We may need to change or cancel a trip because of weather, safety, government restrictions, low numbers or events outside our control. If we make a significant change or cancel, we will tell you as soon as we can and offer [an alternative trip, a credit or a full refund of what you have paid — confirm].

Travel documents and your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for valid passports, visas, permits and any health requirements for your trip.
  • You must follow the reasonable instructions of our guides and staff, and local laws and customs.
  • Tell us in advance about any medical condition, injury or need that could affect your trip.
  • We may refuse or end a traveller’s participation if their behaviour puts others at risk. No refund is due in that case.

Insurance

We recommend that every traveller has travel insurance covering cancellation, medical care and personal belongings. [State whether insurance is included or required.]

Third-party services

Parts of your trip, such as hotels, transport or activities, are provided by independent suppliers. We choose them with care, but their own terms may apply to the services they provide.

Our responsibility

We will provide your trip with reasonable care and skill. Subject to the law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we are not responsible for loss, injury, delay or extra cost caused by events outside our reasonable control, by a traveller’s own actions, or by a third-party supplier. Events outside our control

We are not liable for failing to carry out our obligations where this is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, government action or closures of sites or roads.

Complaints

If something is not right during your trip, tell your guide or us straight away so we can try to fix it. After your trip, write to info@shdad.sa within [X] days and we will reply [within X working days].

Privacy

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of [Riyadh] have jurisdiction over any dispute. [Confirm with your legal adviser.]

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force on the date of your booking apply to that booking.
